I love dragons and I love shifters so when both are together with romance, sex and a great story it's purfect.
Aeon and Isobel's story was really good. Strong and sexy Dragon meets dumped bride. It was a page turner. I look forward to the next one in this series.
A modern take on dragons. Dragons with special powers. Beautiful setting. Surprising dragon villains. Fun twists in the story keep you guessing.
Aeon and Isobel were so strong and likeable together. I loved them!! love at first sight maybe? and then some. It was so interesting and fun to read I felt a pull from the beginning I couldn't put it down. Just awesome!
First off I will state that I have found another writer that I will be following, as this book had a lot of foundation to it. I say that because it was not just another cheesy dragon/heroine book. What I did not like was how fast Isobel just accepted what had happened. Is it just me or would others rebel some how? Dang a hunger strike, kicking and screaming, attempting to get away through deception some how something other then just accepting that they are not strong enough to fight it. Would you not rather fling yourself off off a cliff then be forced to mate as a prize. ( Ho Hum ) anyway it was a good book, plot and H/h.
This is ment to be a stand alone story but the characters from other books are in this book. So Isabel has just been left at the altar and decides to run away and use her honeymoon as a way to heal with her best friend. They are out at a club when she first see Aeon and just doesn't know if she is ready for more of him but is definitely wants to know her. After a one night stand with Aeon Isabel is addicted to be the prize in a tormented for dragon brides. But everything will become he** and havoc. So enjoy the read and hope she finishes this series ! !
Oh I just loved this story. Aeon and Isobel are wonderful characters.
It broke my heart when Isobel was left at he alter but then she would have never met Aeon. I loved that she and her best bud went on a "friendlymoon" together. I was so not happy with her mothers reaction to what happened. My heart really went out to her.
Aeon is made out as such a controll freak but I felt that he really was just waiting for his brothers to grow up and show some responsibility. He has one year to play and see what they can do.
He meets Isobel and seems that all hell breaks loose after an incredible night of sex.
The story is full of intrigue and mystery. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
